The Pettis County Health Center provides this screening service every first and third Monday of the month between 7:30 a.m.-8:30 a.m. There is a fee for the service, paid at the time of the visit. Services are Cholesterol test, Liver Function test (LFT), PSA, finger-stick check for glucose and hemoglobin. The cholesterol test requires that you be fasting, but you may have water. The cholesterol test includes a comprehensive metabolic profile (CMP), lipid panel, creatinine kinase total, and iron total.
Other test provided that require a physician’s order are hemoglobin A1C, complete blood count (CBC), Vitamin D, B12, and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH).
No physician’s order is needed for the MMR IGG for immunity, immunity varicella and the Hepatitis B blood tests but there is a fee. These three tests can be done at wellness screening times or by appointment.
There are varying fees for all labs. Please ask for prices at the time the appointment is made.
