Chlamydia is the most common sexually transmitted infection in men and women, particularly women 25 years and younger. The most common symptoms are vaginal or penile discharge, lower abdominal or pelvic pain, or a burning sensation when urinating but many times there are no symptoms. If you are sexually active you are at risk for contracting an infection.
